Marius Devyžis is heading dispute resolution practice of PRIMUS DERLING Vilnius office and a well-known litigator representing local and international clients in disputes and international arbitrations. He is also recognized as an expert in sports law acting as an experienced counsel in the arbitration courts of Lithuania as well as in international sports arbitrations in Geneva.

Experience
  • Assisting one of the biggest Lithuanian commercial banks in takeover of Assets from bankrupt commercial bank, including legal advice in relation to maintenance, transfer and other development of overtaken assets
  • Acted for IT solutions company Blue Bridge Baltic during its acquisition of a stake in Acorn Intelligence
  • Representing two aviation companies in a complex aviation dispute against the biggest air carrier in the Republic of Tajikistan
  • Acts for clients such as Teledema and ITERO IT on a range of telecoms and IT issues
  • Represented FlyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines in a civil dispute with a state enterprise
  • Advising a public owned waste management company Marijampolės apskrities atliekų tvarkymo centras on various public procurement issues related with a high value public procurement tenders with EU dimension
  • Providing legal services in a dispute examined in an arbitration court to a group of companies developing decision making in mobile payments and e-commerce
  • Representing Lithuanian football club FC Trakai on transfer procedures of a football player
  • Representing interests of Lithuanian national team football player against his former club from Romanian top league in the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC)
  • Advising Lithuanian national team goalkeeper on his transfer to the Dutch top division Eredivisie football club ADO Den Haag from Turkish club Sivaspor
  • Representing the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) in the arbitration case before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) (Switzerland)
